Abyss Dub

Dark dub-inflected experimental hip-hop instrumental at 78 BPM with a steady two-bar rap pocket. Use a short heavy kick on the downbeat and before beat three, a dry rimshot on two and four, and sparse closed hats with human timing. Hold an enormous clean sub note beneath each first half-bar, leaving silence before the next phrase. Add one minor organ stab and send only selected stabs into a long dark echo that recedes behind the drums. Keep the kick, rim and sub centred and nearly dry while the return opens wide. Preserve this riddim throughout, changing only echo feedback and chord tone. Minimal, physical and unmistakably hip-hop dub.
